increasing game Speed

Post by Brannrik »

I feel like the game could be mcuh faster and therefore more fun if all the phases outside of the worker placement phase are individulized for each player. This mean player A could just place his spare parts, do the feasting, breeding and other phases without having to wait for player B. This should be possible because there is no interaction between the players in these phases. In the physicla boardgame it is useful to do these step by step in order to keep track of everything that happens, but since everything is done automatically here I dont see the need to.

I still like the game implementation so far, so keep up the work :)

I agree, and even if you'd argue that in some cases a player might want to see what another is doing with their resources placement before committing to certain things, you can keep the default behavior but allow people to commit if they don't wish to make changes later

There is a bug for this, and I am aware a lot of people want it. I hope to address it some day with a solution similar to the Puerto Rico implementation (which has a "wait for turn order" option).
