Ticket to Ride Competitive Community - League USA 2-player

Post by Sysyphus »

Hello,

The Ticket to Ride Competitive has a dedicated discord server :
https://discord.gg/cEKVW8St6T

We are starting a 2-player League with promotions and relegations season-to-season.

The League will start on May 10th. and will end on September 20th. Seeding done according to BGA Ticket to Ride ELO on May 7th. Minimum ELO to join : 400.

The number of matches depend on the number of player registered - 8 to 15 matches total.

Each match is comprised of 6 games, alternate start.

1 point per games won, 2 extra points for the match win.

Top 4 from each group get promoted.

More details about the rules and registration on the discord server. Do not hesitate to post any question, or shoot me a DM :).

I'll reserve access to players with a 85% Karma minimum.
This is meant to be fun but this is also an organized tournament. You are committing to play the whole League, good communication is a must.

We are planning on organizing a Nation's Cup later this year like we used on the Days of Wonder Website. Playing the League is a good way to get tested at a competitive level !

I'll post updates regularly here about the League and any tournaments we plan on organizing.

While the League is now underway, Knockando has also been running small tournaments with a full Round Robin ELO 500+.

The 5th edition is wrapping, led by Yours Truly :D , but sign-ups for season 6 are now open. He also opened a ELO 300+ tournament in the Sam format.

Missed this too! Maybe catch you in September then, I guess?
I joined the party late at DoW & only played in one "Nations Cup" (?) before the roof caved in on java, but remember it being fun!
