See suggestion https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=22930. I have implemented real-time scoring based on buildings built. Effectively, this implements a tie breaker for games that end "normally" (out of volcano tiles). For games that end "early", all losing players have their score reset to 0 and still tie for the reasons I outlined in earlier posts.
