Pepealas 226 vs Automa 126.

I think it can be improved. Science is crazy... no eco. https://boardgamearena.com/7/gaiaprojec ... =392177009

Pepealas 235 vs Automa 126.

Little better. . https://boardgamearena.com/4/gaiaprojec ... =392322757

Almost... https://boardgamearena.com/10/gaiaproje ... =392332874

pepealas 244 vs Automa 126. Still no eco

Finally....

Pepealas 252 vs Automa 126. Eco, no thanks. https://boardgamearena.com/5/gaiaprojec ... =392352028

Start with academy and Trading Post. Then going science to get the advanced. After that focus on final scores and 3 cities. I think 260 can be reached but...

Straight into the elite! The early Academy+PI fed is interesting, along with the big building booster.

Thanks also to Cazi and Andreas for your posts.

One day to go ... Score lists updated.

I dont know if i have to update my post or post a new one. Is my first month here.

Pepealas 252 vs Automa 126. https://boardgamearena.com/5/gaiaprojec ... =392352028

Start with Academy and Trading. Focus Science and get the advanced. Then try to get points from gaia and trasdim. Finally found 3 federations and obtain every posible tech with points. I finished one of the turns with some resources maybe one of you can reach 260.

Ah I love the Ac + PI approach with Xenos. I agree that 260 or even higher would have been possible there, with some more points from qic actions, and maybe a slight rebalance to more resources for a fourth fed (OR less vp spending on charge). The early q-->o conversion seems a bit of a waste and also the unused second gaiaformer, especially with the vp/gaia tech and r5 round bonus, but mostly the three unfederated mines at the end seem to leave potential (either more or fewer seems better). But great job of course!

It's usually best to make a new post, unless you are updating the last post. Maybe 260 is possible, but 252 means you top the score lists for the June challenge. Great game!

A big thank you to those who contributed scores and comments to an exciting June challenge. I hope everyone enjoyed their games as much as I have enjoyed seeing the replays, which feature lots of different approaches, including gaiaforming. Congratulations to our new chart-topper, pepealas, with no less than 252 vs the Automa. Shout-outs to DarknessForever for some competitive contributions, including a 245, and to all those who have tried the challenge for the first time.
