First time I have won this game, maybe I'm starting to learn it.

Your game seems to be called a loss, though my understanding is that original rules say equal scores tie - someone let me know if that's not the case.
It should be win. :D

In the rules (https://images.zmangames.com/filer_publ ... ook_lo.pdf) on page 18 in paragraph Winner:
The player with the most VP wins the game. In case of a tie, the tied players share the victory.

There is no change to this rule in the automata rules (https://images.zmangames.com/filer_publ ... _lores.pdf) on page 8 in paragraph GAME END SCORING.

But in the next few days, I will try to score more points than Alptrauma.

Congratulations on your first victory!

Yes, it should. Thanks for sharing the exact rules.

Digressing from solo games, but on the subject of ties, this four-player Arena game today produced a three-way tie for first place: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=399393584. Interestingly, all four factions had innate or PI abilities that give knowledge or research advances, and the one that topped gaiaforming was Geodens.

There's one week to go for this month's challenge. It's a great opportunity to practise your Brainstone management skills.

Welcome back! An excellent score. Btw, I'm trying to find out how to set up a favourite factions poll – poll creation is not enabled for the GP forum.

Bunnie 225 vs Alptrauma 194 - https://boardgamearena.com/8/gaiaprojec ... =402562690 - 2RL opening, focused on econ first, got its advanced tech and reached nav-2, then science, terra, AI, nav. Managed to synergize my development with the round bonus.

Nice game, and thanks for trying the Alptrauma. Having watched 30+ replays, it was interesting to see you do something a little different and take the grey planet round 1 and form a very tight federation. Yes, the 2RL+1M opening is just the first of some very good round scoring opportunities.

I hope everyone enjoyed this month's challenge. Pepealas truly harnessed the power of the Taklons, with 285 VP topping the lists - congratulations! Kespie ran that score close, with djchadb, bunnie and snyggis 2003 completing the elite. Well done all those who took part, including Brent_F on a first victory.
