Canadians who quit the game when they start losing

Post by PauloCientista »

I believe that those who practice the game constantly have noticed that there are players who give up and leave the game when they start losing. In the absolute majority of the time these people are Canadians and beginners, that is, players who make new accounts to move up the elo faster.

This script has been repeated for months and even with so many red thumbs these people multiply quickly.

My questions are:
Why almost always Canadians?
What should we do as players? As well as giving red thumbs.
What should moderators can do in this situation?

Thank you for any contribution.

That post is quite dangerous for the rest of the Canadians who do not do that and are beginners.

I have been trying to play the game since it came out. Finally got into one. The game got stuck in "updating status", I refreshed but it was still stuck, I refreshed again and it worked and suddenly I got kicked out by another player despite the game saying there are some bugs and to be understanding.

It's already hard enough to get into the game. Posting messages like that is not going to help the regular people who want to play.

I hate to say it but Paulo's observation is right. I prefer to give the benefit of the doubt but it seems that a beginner is more likely to quit than finish a game at this point.

I'm now making my tables apprentice and above. Unfortunate but seems to be the only way to handle this.
