Architect Level

I'm bit confused about how the architect level impacts a multiplayer game. From what I could find online, it looks like it's intended for solo mode, but I see it selected for multiplayer games too. How does that work?

Must be a bug on your part?
The architect levels are AIs of different difficulties for solo games only. It is based on how the points are counted for the AI, be it only first floor, 2 floors or 3 floors.

Yes, I understand how it works for solo mode. But it is also noted as a selection for tournament configurations where I am not playing solo mode. Is this affecting game play? And if so, how? ETA: I don't notice any difference in gameplay, but want to make sure I'm not missing something.

It's only for solo, so no impact at all on multiplayer.
