Is anyone else getting errors at end of turnbased games?

Post by KenFin1 »

I've noticed a weird error recently and I wondered if anyone else is seeing this too:

When I finish a solo turnbased game it doesn't end the game properly. I get the game end screen but the tab for" game results" doesn't complete, it hangs on " Recording game results + computing statistics in progress.." and never resolves. Not with log-out and log-in again, not with waiting 24 hours, nothing. The game still appears as active in my user current tables list and more annoying, it keeps telling me it's my turn when the game is complete. Doesn't matter if I win or lose against Penny D the error repeats.

It didn't do this until recently. Has there been a tweak somewhere that is causing this? I'm also seeing errors with incorrect defeat/victory messages at game end in other games (innovation etc) so hopefully there is an option to rollback whatever glitch has crept in.

Yes, BGA main website appears to have introduced a bug with the end-of-game screen in their update on 9/7. Many games are affected.

Several Hardback players filed bugs against my game, which I have attributed to the above BGA bug.

Phew. I hoped it would be something like that and not just me seeing things. Thank you for the prompt response (and thank you also for the work on this. It's much appreciated)
