Board redesign

Please can we have the old board design back? Or at least, an option to use the old design and colours. I find the new colour scheme quite hard to view. The beige board is very close to the yellow carpets and the outer board is very busy, making it harder to see the turning circles. Also the purple rugs are horrible!
The original board was a copy of the game colours, a feature of this site. Have they reissued the game with a new design? Even if they have, can we have the option of using the ‘old’ design?

Agree x1000. The new version is so bad. Please give us the option to choose which version to use.

On the top left, right below the game title, there is a "Latest Update", which talks about the new design and has comments from the players and the developer.

I've never actually been too fond of the "default" Marrakech carpet tiles, and I'd ended up creating custom tileset based on "real" persian rug images from Google Image Search -- you can use those via the "Advanced" preferences by using your own CSS). I just noticed this graphical update last night, so I updated it to match the current color scheme. IMO it's quite nice to look at!



I've got instructions for its use here: https://apocalyptech.com/bga/ , though briefly, you just head into your Advanced preferences and add this to the CSS box:
