When only one choice exists

This game can be very long due to the nature of asking for cards and the player then needing to wait for their opponent to choose which card to give back in response if they do not have the original asked for card. I think it would be better if there is only one choice that it just automatically fulfills. For example I ask for a 3 purple my opponent does not have a 3 purple so he now gets to choose to give me a 3 or a purple of a different number. He has no other 3's and only a purple 2 so he HAS to give me the purple 2. Why should all players have to wait for that exchange when it can just happen automatically?
