Special actions and Power actions

I haven't played Terra Mystica on BGA before and I have a quick question that maybe we were playing wrong IRL or TTS games.

Can you take a special action and another action on the same turn?
Specifically, I want to take the 2 spade power action and use the free spade from the bonus card. It looks like the BGA interface prevents this but I wasn't sure.

The BGA interface prevents this because it's not legal. The golden rule is you can only take one main action (anything that's not a power conversion) each turn. And anything with an orange octagon - including both special actions and power actions - is a main action.
