New Way to cheat the progess if the game

I have always enjoyed this game but now people use an excuse to cheat the game. On the first play, they will place down and card and say it is a mistake and then pick up 3 instead of 1 draw. This throws the flow off of the game and it is a mistake is a mistake not a way to play the game. People will do this 3-4 times in a row so they have triple cards to play with vs. someone who follows the intent of the game and picks up one.

This has made the game a disaster to play, plus the card color change makes it worse as well. I am not sure if something can be done. But it is not used for the real card game,

The rule is if a player takes cards and then places them back on the board, without at least a plus one card, gets a three cards penalty. As many players are discussing the same issue you posed, I suggest BGA to lower significantly the points at the end of the game! Either you win or not, every time you take cards e put them back on the board, without putting at least one more card, you will get a minus one point or two etc points, depending on the point evaluation currently utilized!

One of the reasons you pick cards off the table and then restore them immediately is to help a fractured hand or to help get playable cards if you have several pairs. You end up getting deeper into the deck in less time and as long as players are moving cards out of their hand it really shouldn't matter how many extra cards they have taken from the deck. Some people do hoard cards and this I feel is wrong, but some collection and getting sets or runs down should help everyone find playable locations.

You can change the deck style in the settings to normal black-red suits

Wouldn’t it be easier to remove the penalties and pass the turn of the players who despise the rules of the game, by applying what they consider as playing techniques and who are in reality only cheating. These players do not compete with other players but behave as if they were playing alone, either by seeking penalties for having more cards, or by greatly exceeding their playing time in defiance of their playing partner, by not depositing any cards until they feel they have enough to reveal their game. All this does not exist in the basic rules of true Machiavelli. The solution: a player exceeds his time, his turn is blocked; a player rests the cards identically, one passes his turn; a player draws 10 cards without laying any, one passes his turn and one prevents him from drawing other cards until he has not laid any.

Posso capire di prendere una volta le tre carte se non si ha niente in mano, però farlo 5/6 volte di fila come fa il giocatore Biazz no... Però probabilmente è un bambino speciale e deve fare così per vincere
