I used to play this game with a few different options:
- the President always starts the game (yes, life is unfair, more than you think, the President has all the advantages!)
- you can never play the same value card, you always have to go strictly higher
- no revolution
That being said, I see that quite a few options already exist and I find it confusing. It actually deters me from trying this game on BGA (I'm not used to that skipping turn factor, to those rules about how you can finish the game...) Maybe it would be easier to keep the number of options to a "manageable" amount so that you don't have to check all those possible rules before even entering a new game? Any thoughts on this?
