How does the Freshman work?

I am playing in a game where I have the Freshman. I am going to the Grain Utilization action spot, but I am not being given the option to play an occ instead of bake bread. I have a grain in my inventory in case it is necessary to be able to bake bread for the card to take effect. Can anyone clarify if I am just misunderstanding how this card works? Thanks.

You just have to click "pass" when you get offered the beak bread option and it will give you the option to play an occ

Thank you, that was it. I do believe they could have found a more intuitive way of arranging that.
