How does the level 5 Gaia project tech work?

How does the level 5 Gaia project tech work?

I am terran and used a gaiaformer. As I have level 5 in the Gaia project tech should I not get 4 VP and +1 bonus for my gaia planets? I did not get VP so not sure if I have misunderstood something.

The top level of the Gaia track is a one-time reward, with points for gaia planets that have buildings on - a gaiaformer is not a building. If you have reached there then build a mine on a gaia planet, you do not get more VP. (You would however still get 3 VP if you had the standard tech tile for placing a mine on a gaia planet.)

If I have misunderstood your query, could you post a link to your game so that it's possible to see the exact sequence of events?

Ah it is a one time reward once you reach the lvl 5 tech space. Did not get that part. Thx.
