Unfortunately, given how the game seems to be implemented (https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... 0&start=10), that's way more likely than it should (see later posts in that thread).
Because BGA attempts to faithfully recreate the physical game.
And yet the physical game says the players choose a word from the 5 words in a card, while in the BGA implementation there's nothing to choose.

Would it be possible to have an option to write our own word at each turn ? Then it would be infinite.

it's the same for the French version of the game

it's very little for a language corpus, 500 words (only common words) at random, if you play 1 or 2 games a day, 4 or 5 times a week, you'll inevitably come across the same words

it's not the same as playing mathematical combinations with cards or dice
you come to know the possible clues and what they refer to

Wouldn't this be the responsible people for the game integration, who should have the channel to Repos already – I guess KuWizard?

The prople who really care about it should mention it on the Game page I guess https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=justone

I hope for more words too, in ALL languages but mainly English as the probably most played language.

What I can't understand is this: Repos already made an expansion with 550 new words that came out in 2020, but only in German. No other languages. Pretty annoying.

In the physical game, the active player does not choose a word, but announces a random number between 1 and 5 without looking at the card (the active player has to guess the word, therefor (s)he should not see the words).

Ah, I may have misread or misremembered it. Still, the active players chooses a number (not random, but arbitrary). That is not the same as the game selecting a random number. Experienced players may choose a particular number in the physical game trying to avoid some word, for instance, or play a game choosing always 3, and another choosing always 4 (which guarantees no duplicates). This is not possible in BGA.

Most relevant here is that, if the same group of players is playing a lot, and the active player chooses say 3 and the other players can see that is word that they've clued recently, they can ask the active player to choose a different number. There is no equivalent of this on BGA, and this can hugely help to keep the number of repeats down.
