Elo in King of Tokyo

Post by King Mauri »

Why did I lose more Elo than 2nd place if we both lost at the same time and he even had more Elo than me?

Because you lost against at least one more player. And possibly because of the K factor.

Highly recommend to post a table link when you have questions about a specific table
But yeah, probably you had a higher k-value.

OK, so there was a winner, and you tied with another player in 2nd place. The other player lost 1.4 elo against you, and you won 2.79 against her. Normally, in any 2-player pairing, the elo change is equal with opposite sign. You actually won twice as much as the other player lost, that means your K factor was twice as much as hers, because you had played a small number of games.
