Feigning Death - What's the point?

Post by DoctorFianchetto »

I must be missing something but I don't understand the purpose of feigning death. In what situation is it beneficial? It seem the same as yielding...

Feigning death ignores the value sum.
For example, if you have A2345 in 4p and you face a King, you can discard all 5 cards in hand to survive.

That's player order variant, not feign death.

While feigning death can be a risky strategy and may not always be effective, it can be a survival instinct triggered in life-threatening situations where other options are limited.
