1st edition rules

Am I right in thinking there's no link to the original rules any more? What looks like a link here to 1st edition rules on BGG leads to a rules adjustment to deal with one specific problem.

Since BGA has both versions here, it would be good to access the full rules for each.

Please! I second this. As a new solo player, I have zero interest in learning (or playing) the second edition rules, and the 1st edition is not easily available anywhere outside of BGA. Why remove the rules, when we can actually play both editions?
