The colours on the map are not that easy to distinguish to begin with, but with highlighting of provinces in slightly different colours it becomes almost impossible to know to which region a highlighted province belongs to.
I think that highlighting active provinces is a good thing, but this issue could maybe be solved with adding thicker borders around the regions?
Otherwise I am pleased with how this game is implemented here
