@Admins: Why is Schnapsen still in Beta?

Post by Telestes »

Why is Schnapsen still in Beta without bugs in the last 10 months?
Please, we would like to play Schnapsen arena and tournaments.

That's my question too.
The classic game has a myriad of local rules, which may be inhibiting the determination of BGA rules.
But I would like to see you decide on one thing and move on. I will follow the rules as determined by the arena mode and there can be a rule set by authority.

It is sad that many of the classic games are still pending in beta, so by all means let's move on!

There is currently 164 games in beta. The release calendar is clearly crowded.
Except for calendar period (like now), there is only 2 release per week.

Adding the fact that there is on average more game moving from alpha to beta than official release, the situation is not trivial to solve.

It might be possible to ask for "silent" release, but that is not so common

Well, the result is what you see now. I've given up.
