I like playing Konane and tried to read online whatever I can find about its strategy. So I thought I would share two of them in context of my own experience and understanding of the game. Perhaps it might help some Konane players play better games.
1. Leave your corner checkers to the end of game.
Your opponent cannot jump over it (and eliminate a move that each checker represents) so you are under no pressure to play it sooner.
2. Protect your corner checkers from isolation.
But your opponent's checkers adjacent to your corner checkers can jump away. If those adjacent enemy checkers jump away then your corner checker becomes useless (because theres no enemy checker adjacent to jump over). So you lose/waste away a move.
If you have insights please share them.
