You've only played three 2-player games. Not a huge sample.

I don't remember the rules, but possibly some colors are removed in 2-player games. You find some blue cards here:

In 2-player games, 2 colours (chosen randomly) are removed. You'll eventually meet the "cartes bleues"

Indeed, the website (https://helvetiq.com/be/odin?srsltid=Af ... K5EClkEIAc) gives the advice to remove two colors when you are only two players. But it's not at all written in the rules inclued in the box.
