Personally I'm not in favour of banning any more cards at this point, I think the set is really good.

Beer Table is very strong but I don't think it's the strongest minor now (my belief is that would be Brewery Pond, which is too fun to ban). Two wood is non-trivial, getting enough grain can be tough in some games and paying all of your opponents a food every harvest is an underappreciated downside of the card.

I'd really like to see stats on card power so we could see whether things really are broken. Whoever was giving Lumin the data for him to analyse, please do that again!

Someone already said this in a Lumin-Stream, i think it was you alex, and i made the same experience, not just once regarding Future Building Site. A Low Elo Player plays the card, to then collect Bulidung Resources, only to realize what Future Building Site really does. Then the table debates whether to end the game. This is frustrating... Also in keeping new players interested in the game. If i'm fairly new and see that effect of a card, i try another game.

I've never played Future Building Site but i imagined some funny combos, but never got them. So i don't know how much players would miss that card. I don't need it that badly.

Interesting. Yes, that did happen with me, and it ruined the game for that player (who finished the game, to their credit). I’ve not yet seen it be played by someone who understood what it would do, though someone committed to a 2 room growth cheat game, or running Childless and getting an ultra early room - maybe? I wouldn’t miss it, that’s for sure.

I think the card set about right, but I'm an sometimes good, sometimes bad, player. For me, Arena is in a good spot and we should play another season with this set and format.

PS - Beer Table can give you 10-12 pts, but you might throw your game away to get them ...

With quite a few combo cards, it can be completely busted. Cordmaker, Field Watchman, Brewery Pond to name a few. Then you can get 12 p Beer Table without sacrificing much. It should be on the ban watch list.

Forest Reviewer:

No additional moves or effort needed by the player (those 2 spaces are regularly taken each round), no counterplay options available to the competition (avoiding either space means reviewer player will just take).

You’d think the silver lining is “more reed for the rest of us” but the reviewer player is rolling in so much reed they’ll go for basketmaker and want it all. Early game advantage of building 5 rooms means easier time of controlling the reed spot if they really want to.

Ban Archway please. It is very efficient points and easy to play, but most important imo is the annoyance factor: it prolongs the game and screws with placement choices.

I also think Archway should be considered for a ban, 4 points for 2c is way higher value than any similar card for the small price of delaying occs 1 or 2 rounds. Also, players being able to put their person on Archway breaks the normal flow of the game in an annoying way.
