How did someone reset elo?

You already found the links of games so it’s super obvious that the Elo was reset to 0, not 1x.

They likely read the ratings in the posted game as the initial rather than new ratings, so it looked like the player was reset to 16 instead of being reset to 0 and having just won the 16 points in their mind.

Putting aside the propriety of having an alt account at all, I've never seen merely having an alt account punished. It's having multiple accounts and using one of them to lose to the other that gets punished.

This has to be amended to say I've now seen an alt account (publicly admitted, so it's not speculation) being punished just for being an alt account apparently. Actually, the account has been deleted, so we can't know for sure whether BGA banned it or it was deleted voluntarily.

I guess this post is about me. I earned my 700+ elo and arena championship 100% fair. I just really want my elo and trophys back, but after 3 e-mails to bga i just dont get a reply
