Is it possible to improve accessibility of this game?

Post by Chiffa of Kettari »

It is a well-known fact that people with certain eye conditions can't read light text on dark backgrounds. It's different when it's on paper, but with glowing pixels it's impossible and causes severe migraines.

That's an example of how we see things: https://jessicaotis.files.wordpress.com ... -text2.png. Others are easily googled.

This game sounds very cool, but just opening the game table with all the bright colors on dark background causes vertigo, eyes soreness and headache. I understand that this copies the paper version, but, again, this is different on paper because paper doesn't glow. Is it possible to make light version of this game, so it is more accessible?

Hi Chiffa,

You need to submit a "bug report" with this suggestion so others can upvote it and the developer can consider it along with other suggestions.
Our games make you think! https://Simplicatus.Games is an independent publisher and distributor of indie tabletop games.

Is a choice in menu to disable all glowing effects be enough for you ? (no change in color)
