What is your biggest score?

Post by serfalini »

Hi, I scored 203 points in a two-player game. This is my personal record. I didn't think that was realistic in a two player game. But I had a tech upgrade tile with golden windows and maxed out on the hunger wall and the cathedral. It will probably not be interesting to continue playing with two players, I should try with the max player count
here is a screenshot of final score https://ibb.co/sH93j29

What is your biggest score so far ?

Over 200 points is not uncommon with the gold window upgrade tile. 2 player will become fun for you again once everyone understands that you can’t let the upgrade action tile land on an S slot on the wheel. As there are only 4 S tiles, if the gold window tile isn’t showing when the age II upgrades come out, you can refresh the upgrades for a 33% chance of making it appear. (With one showing, 3 remain, 1 of which is the gold window upgrade).

Even when this is a required strategic consideration for high level play, in 1 of 4 games the gold window upgrade tile comes out immediately when the age II tiles come out. This means it can also be good to make sure you’re not taking the upgrade action tiles at the end of age I if you’re going to move it on an S action slot.

very good analytics, in my opinion this tile is a bit unbalanced, after all, the golden window is a very strong bonus
