Why not 8x8 ?

BGA offers a 12x12 option for PdD. I don't love that. 10x10 (standard) is a long and difficult enough game.

But, why not also try the other way: an 8x8 board? Could make for an interesting shorter game. 8-)

Has anyone ever seen or tried this?
