How to place boats??

Can't figure out how to place the boats. I've tried several times!!

Hi,
I hope fou find your solution...
Anymay, you click all cases you want to place one boat, they'll be marked with a "?"
Then you click on the baot you want to place.
I have to say that it is not very practical and I also grope for this method.

The boats are confusing when you want to place them
