There're free work from prisoners , redistributable tool , education , loan from bank. The complexity is underated .

Yes, Middle Ages removed the investment row, making it harder to get money. I like Antiquity better. I'm not sure why they made a version without the investment row, but it definitely changes the flow of the game to have loans unavailable. With Antiquity, you almost always want to take a loan whenever you can so you always have money - with Middle Ages you can't do that.
