Is the clock a site feature?

Post by RobertBr »

So, this is a question for Lunalol. Is the timer purely under the control of the site rather than the game?

It hasn't really been a problem (for real world reasons) but if someone wishes to take a holiday they are then likely to run out of time. Its sometimes possible to manage these with holiday jokers or by winding down games before you go, but given the length of USE games it is likely you will sometimes not be able to do this. Would it be possible to have a mutual pause button for the players that extended everyones time by a fixed amount?

Clock is under site control, I can't do that. But...
I can add some extra time (but I don't know if it will add hours or days) to a player.

I think that good solution is to start game with no time limit or with slowest choice.
