The asymmetric speed of the game could be increased significantly if I could choose a hand for my opponent to drop before they split their gems.
At the moment we have;
1. Move cart & hit someone
2. Wait for other player to divide
3. Come back to me to pick a hand
4. Move to next cart and potentially repeat.
This adds up to 8 days of waiting on a maxed out session of the default turn timer, hitting 2 carts in a turn. Instead we could have
1. Hit someone, pick a hand for them to drop.
2. Move 2nd card and pick a hand.
3. Player(s) divides gems - Simultaneous turns.
4. Move onto next player without having to return to me.
