Greetings In the Year of the Dragon players!
In the Year of the Dragon is one of BGA's oldest games, and one of my personal favorites. I was given permission to implement the expansions from the 10th Year Anniversary Edition, and I am pleased to announce that they are now available for alpha testing.
So, if you are a member of the BGA alpha tester community, you can now play ITYOTD with the Great Wall and Super Events expansions here: https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?ga ... edragonexp
If you are not a BGA alpha tester, but you are an experienced ITYOTD player and you would like to test the expansions, DM me and I can add you to the ITYOTD testing group. Please do so only if you are actually willing to report bugs and rate the implementation, not just because you want to play with the expansions. Remember that there may be bugs, possibly game-ending bugs, so this is not like the regular game on the main page (though I hope it will eventually be merged with it).
Note that these expansions are independent of one another, and it is possible to play with either or both. There are many combinations, so I ask all ITYOTD fans to play the heck out of them, try every combination, and report any bugs or improvement requests here: https://boardgamearena.com/bugs?game=1462
