The Nethervoid expansion would be great, but for variety what'd be ideal is a deckbuilding/drafting element. However, probably that'd be way too much work to implement.

When I played Tash-Kalar offline, we tried a drafting phase similar to Seasons. We shuffled the decks together, picked out the first 36 cards, and then went back and forth choosing cards until each person had a deck of 18. We then reshuffled our individual deck and put the 3 cards on top in our hand. We played the rest of the game using the regular rules. We decided not to draft the legends or flares. We also only used one of the empire decks during the draft so no one would end up with two of the same card.
It was interesting to see the different combos that popped up, and the game wasn't as predictable as it was when we played with the base rules. I know that the game developers have a specific reason for how they chose to design each deck, but playing with the same decks over and over again gets repetitive after a while.
I agree that this would be difficult for BGA to implement, but I would love to see something like this here.

Definitely a great expansion, particularly in death match melee. I'd love to be able to play with it on BGA.
