Since the point of 'confirm' is to allow one to fix a mistake (such as a misclick, mouse drop, or interface error) I am not sure what you mean. If I make one of those errors I will presumably notice the game state changing in a way that I did not intend before I move over to a confirm button and click on it also.

You are right that there are some games that really don't need a confirm button for whatever reason. I haven't played 'Can't Stop', but I would say that, for instance, because of the way Jaipur's card selecting mechanic works a confirm button in that game would be redundant and just bothersome. But having a confirm button should be the default scenario, and not having one the special case. Also as I said earlier in the thread: if you personally don't like confirming moves, this problem is easily solved by a user option to opt out of confirmation.
