I play turn-based a lot, because most of the time, I can't stay long enough on BGA to play "big" games (no speaking of real time tournaments...) . So that's really nice to have the opportunity to set up turn-based tournaments. But every matches at the same time is really time-consuming. I've just seen it with my first Tash Kalar tournament.

Thanks to a clickable option, people who can/want to play 10 matches of the same game at the same time can continue to do this, and people who want/have to take more time would still be able to play round robin tournaments. If people are ready to spend a lot of time in turn-base Swiss tournaments, why can't they do the same in round robins ?

Sorry mistake in the case of 10 players must be: Number of matches: 9

Nope. This works only if 10 players register. If the number of participants is finally lower than 10, then you'll have to play several times against the same player. This is not what we want.

Not really, BGA "never" set-up the same table, if you setup it, and only get 5 players, you will play only 4 games -you can't play against yourself- and after it the tour will finish.

It doesn't in round-robin mode, but is does in swiss mode (unless this has changed recently). A few weeks (maybe months) ago, I had to play several games against the same player in a tourney (planned for 10 players, only 4 registered).

Thanks for your effort trying to help. But the games I am playing are not that popular and I do not want to set up tourneys with a fixed number of players because it it likely that most of them would not start because of too few participants.

We are simply asking for an improvement, that will be implemented or not depending on the will of the admins (according to its feasibility and/or to their own priorities) and I am perfectly fine with that.

Now I find it really amazing to see how many people try to convince us that this improvement is not needed

To summarize:
(a) we do not like playing round-robin (too many games at the same time) even turn-based;
(b) we do not want to fix the number of players in a tourney (we want to keep min and max numbers);
(c) we would like to have the number of games to be played computed from the number of participants so that every player meets each other player, and two players meet only once (same a round-robin, but games do not start simultaneously);
(d) we do not want to impose anything, we just would like to have this option offered when setting up a tournament

It changes some months ago. In a tournament with 2p, a player never play with same opponent twice, believe me:

I set this tournament for 4 games but only 2 was played, it's because there are 4 quits and the system expel them.
