Would be good if AFTER sandboxing and if BGA approves it, a sandbox can evolve to a normal game.
Yes, you will say: "a sandbox is a game too", but I say a game with auto-mechanics like all games from here. In 1 year we will know around 100 sandboxes of different games.

This is the plan.
This is even more than that : we want to make it progressive. We'd like to allow programmers to write scripts for Sandbox games to add automatism and rules reinforcements, little by little, until finally the game become a "standard" BGA game.

Hi,
Sorry about the lack of information about Sandbox. We are way late on this subject for 2 main reasons :
_ personal issues
_ a lot of releases and new big stuff on BGA these last 3 months (Inventors, Karma system, RFTG, Carcassonne, ...)
Additional reason : initially, we focused essentially on games prototypes for Sandbox. However, it appears that a majority of game prototypes authors would like to use Sandbox for private test sessions, and do not want to make the game available to public on BGA. So this approach is not ideal for BGA and its community, because the goal of Sandbox is to have more PUBLIC games on BGA. This is the reason we have to reorient Sandbox to board games that are published / close to be published / kickstarters / ... In particular, these authors/designers are asking for "scripts", that allow to automate some actions that would be painful otherwise.
To conclude :
_ we are now working on scripts.
_ Sandbox won't be open to everyone without the possibility to add scripts.
_ In any case, the first games from Sandbox (apart from Go) will appears on January.

Thank you for news.
And for the copyright of the games, is BGA who organize this ?
