Good suggestion. Will be implemented in the next release to make a difference between voluntary table left and admin action.

You are speaking of when it's still in the invite list, right? Kicking someone at that point shouldn't haven't any consequences for anyone. I agree the message should reflect what really happened, but I'm not really sure why anyone would ask why you quit. I've quit before, and even been told on here that I could do that. I forget why, like certain information I couldn't see until I joined, and then didn't like so quit. Although the table page looks different now so I no longer have reason to do such a thing. But still, it's not a huge deal and I don't think anyone should bug you about it.

But it is curious why you'd be kicked out, unless as you said they were waiting for certain people and don't understand how to do that properly. I've never had that happen. But you don't have a bad record or anything, so there isn't any excuse from that perspective.

I had situations in which a player managed to join to a full table (full saved, no vacancy for any random person, usually rematches) before invited people joined to. And when wanting to play specific number of players, in a game that allows more players... you know. In rare cases they don't get why I kick them (and also in rare cases I play with them anyway). But I am admin for a table for a reason - to play the way I want to, and I set the restrictions for a reason.
And as we are humans and make mistakes - sometimes people just forgot to change restrictions, both with number of players and rank. Especially when rematching 2player game you suddenly realize that the game was 2p, but set up for 2-4, and when you got back from afk you suddenly have more players than will to play.

There are several reasons why the players kick someone away from the table.
1. Opponent selection to improve probability to win and increase ELO.
2. Membership or national bias. People kick players who haven't membership or from specific countries.
3. Some people prefer to play against different players, so they may kick someone with whom they already played today.
4. A friend suddenly appear online or near the table and need a place for him.
As you see 3 and 4 are good reasons. 1 actually means that player who do so is cheater. 2 means that he is racist/fascist.
Also I saw a behaviour when someone didn't kick the other player (2p-game) but leave and create new table in short time. That is actually the same thing.

Call me Ishmael wrote:Too often, I join a game and for no reason the table administrator kicks me. In almost every case, the table administrator does not know me and is using this discourteous method to reserve spaces at the table for his friends, instead of using the proper method.
Such misuse could be prevented by limiting the number of different players the table administrator may kick out. After all, the administrator may also quit the table if he don't want to play with anybody.
