Where did my list of games in progress go?

Frankly, I don't think it is a big deal to have to refresh the page fairly often. Nevertheless, if the yellow bar is supposed to be up to the minute without refreshing, then there is certainly a bug.

I don't know how fast it refreshes on its own. I just know that I don't refresh mine but it still comes up, or updates the number. But since I don't pay attention to email notices, I couldn't make a comparison. For the most part, I've never had the impression that most things around here have any kind of delay like that.

If you were to watch it, like you get the email but it hasn't updated, and maybe see if it changes on its own, then you might figure that out. I did have a couple of games in which my opponents were online during a certain time and my turn would come back up quickly like it was live. That would have been a good way to check it, but those are over. I do know there were times I thought, really? I just took my turn 2 seconds ago....

Of course, the point is that you "shouldn't have to" refresh it. If it's not doing it at least after a short delay, then yeah I'd say it was a bug, or bad connection, or something.

To clarify, I am not saying that it never refreshes quickly. In fact, like you, I have also had occasions when I have played my move and *immediately* been told that it is my turn again.

My point is, one (or at least I) cannot *rely* on it to refresh on its own. Today I waited 20 mins after I *knew* I had a game waiting before hitting the refresh button. I don't know whether the problem is at bga or in the browser itself, but the fact remains that sometimes it gets into a state where the page simply gets stale.

Also to clarify, I do not mention this here as a complaint, but rather as troubleshooting guide for folks that cannot find their games (sort of akin to rebooting your device when it fails.)

Mine has no issues provided the computer doesn't go to screensaver or power save settings. But if it does, the sound notification of games being ready will ding but the games in progress will be inaccurate (it will hold the old count of games needing turns played when it went to screen saver and thus say no new games while several are still my turn).
