As far as I understood your question, Lotus Blossom gave you a process to check exactly what you asked for. Open the table page in a new tab by clicking on the BGA logo, and check the "players around this table" section. That's just one click away

But a player can be with a tab open at the table and still not play again today for whatever reason, while he can have closed the tab or his browser and still get back immediately when he gets the mail or notification. So using this indication to decide if you want to stick around is clearly just a bet

You're correct. And that will work, but when you are jumping between 10-20 games that are active then you don't want to keep checking ifthe person is live by clicking into another page. No worries. not a big deal but I thought I'd ask if it was something that could be done since it's partially implemented already.

Yeah, this. I get very easily distracted by stuff, so I'd hate for someone to be waiting around on me just cause I've got the table open.
