https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/282176 ... s-tapestry is an example of what could be done. Looks like he got a dump of player logs, but an API allowing anonymous data could unlock a lot of potential.
I can imagine a few visualizations, or even just numbers, that would add value to BGA, and even specific games, to generate more interest.

These guys do not analyze game history, they analyze game stats.
Stats dump is available to publisher. This person connected with game author to authorize them for this and got the data.
It is not the same as API to analyze logs

How do I download my own game data?
I would love to have access to my personal game history via API and don't see how that could violate the TOS. But, if that is not possible, and I AM able to download an archive of that info, I can certainly make that work. I just can't seem to find a way to download that archive anywhere in the BGA interface. Victoria_La, can you point me in the right direction?

How does BG Stats now sync with BGA? Can that mechanism be used by all? Still looking for API INFO.....

They are not. No api. Nothing exist.

So, the reality is, "We don't want to do it" instead of "Is not possible". Same applies to the better privacy request.

Go to your history of game, click replay and save the page. You can "download" it but that does not mean it's easy to do or easy to process...
