Try to play normal kalah - you will see you real level.

Empty capture is instead a very logic rule because prevents to jigglying around your stones and adds a further layer of thinking instead of "let's starve my opponent". I think it has to be added as default.

Where added? The site allows you to play with an empty take, but no one is playing.

I suggest alternating 5 and 6 rather than alternating 4 and 5.

I agree. Kalah 6 is the richest and most substantive option.

You can attract newcomers this way, but they will also leave quickly, and serious players are more interested in Kalah-6.
