Thanks again! Will see if I can figure something out to avoid the excessive scrolling... and maybe I will try to play a bit with the card sizes.

Hi !

Here is the new (much convenient) process for reviewing a game on BGA:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=15288

Thanks for your work and looking forward to test your adaptation :)

I updated the view to make it so less scrolling is needed according to some testers recommendations. For 5 and 6 players it might require horizontal scrolling, but still is more comfortable than scrolling all the way down. The game is recommended for maximum 4, where I beleive the new layout works much better.

Let me know what you think if you can!

Hello,

I'm a bit late to this party, perhaps too late, but here goes: I played Xanadu for the first time yesterday. I liked it, and hope to play it again soon.

One small niggle: I found it difficult to see the icons for the purchase price. From an eariler response in this thread, I see that you don't wish to introduce tooltips, (which was my first idea to help with this). So perhaps some way to see an enlarged image of just the top, left corner of each card. Like, say, when you mouse over that particular area, you would see an enlargement of the purchase-price icons?

Thanks for putting all the effort into making this game available.

IMO, the below would make the UI cleaner and better:
1. Reduce the card size a bit
2. Make the tableau horizontal, rather than vertical. Would reduce scrolling, especially when the the player size is 2 or 3. It would also give a better overview of who owns what.

Dear players/developers,
Xanadu has been in beta for more than 200 days, and is not being actively maintained (no change in more than 6 months). Thus, we have decided to bring it back to alpha.
You can continue to play it in alpha with other members of this group, and provide feedback. If the developer has the possibility in the future to work on the game again, we will be happy to bring it back to beta then to a full release.
