Absolutely! If a group is private, then only members of that group should be able to see posts/comments made in that group. I would like for groups to be truly private. Members only!

Thinking your conversation is private, when actually everyone can read it, can cause people to offend each other unintentionally.

This should only affect the group wall posts and only if a group member posts to it.
If a group admin makes a wall post it will remain private unless a group member posts to it.

Group chat isn't affected at all.

I just tested this, and it is correct. About 99% of conversations in a private group are made public.
ONLY an admin's post can stay hidden, and ONLY if no one replies.

Thanks for raising this issue. The "private" groups are a joke on BGA. BGA needs to do better. Please do something, BGA!

Agreed. Private should mean having privacy. Busy times, hope they can change it soon.
