If someone has been reported and a moderator has a ruling, I see there is a method for the person that has been moderated to dispute the ruling (with a higher penalty for disputing incorrectly). Is there a method for seeking clarification/understanding?
Could not agree more.
Moderation as of now seems highly slanted towards following the accuser and ruling against the accused, hence incentivizing a "file a complaint"-culture, that nobody could truly want. Even the suggested course of action in the current Moderation Policy as response to a complaint received is "file another complaint", asking to ALSO accuse the previous accuser, like a mud throwing match is welcomed and wanted!
To add insult to injury & even worse than the current system of moderation, that seems to ignore wider context (full chat, not just excerpts), coined phrases / wordplay that are unique to certain games (e.g. Werewolves: Cupido ./. STUPIDO) etc., is the fact that elapsed moderations do not disappear in due time. It has been more than the alloted time put in place for moderation based on the petty claims by an individual soured by his own gameplay and yet I am still faced with a flashpage that says "You have been moderated."
This should be fixed immediately as it effectively locks me out of use of a website that I actually was a very happy, premium customer of.
Please address the above asap, in my and anyones case.
Without need for further debate it is grossly out of measure / good balance even IF the alleged things would have been enough ground for a moderation (see my appeal), to lock a player out of the website far beyond the actual moderation.
