I actually find it a bit disturbing in this day and age that SSH key is not an allowed option - it's widely considered the most secure way, rather than either remembering, scripting or copy/paste-ing the password all the time.
Please, BGA admins, allow this!!

I agree. I just started developing a game, and as I was setting up my environment I was shocked to find that I couldn't use SSH public keys. It's a huge hassle to use password authentication for every file transaction. I don't understand why we're not allowed to create a ~/.ssh directory and drop our keys in there...

Victoria_La brought back my attention to this, and even though a lot of tools allow to use passwords in a comfortable way, public keys are practical and it seems to have become a more frequent request.
You'll now find in the control panel a panel to upload your SSH public key. Hope it helps!
