Hi everyone, the patch is now live:
  • There will be no more duplicate options. Duplicate means the same total coins are traded with both player on the left and right.
  • Cheapest options are displayed first.
  • You will see how many coins you will give to each player.
  • There is a tooltip if you want to know what are you trading for
Let me know what you think!

Yeah, great that this was done. Haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but I'm sure it'll be cool.

Nice job. This improvment was highly needed...and it's done.

There is still a very little (and easy) thing that could be done... When there is only one trading option, there is no need to have to choose. It should be automatic. It's like a confirmation button, but what's the point as you are not asked with the other actions. Just my 2 cents

I disagree : I might sometimes change my mind when I realize how much I'd give to this and that opponent.

You already know how much you will be paying, as it's written in green on the top of the card. I understand your point regarding the fact that it goes left or right, but when it's an issue, it think it's easy to figure out by yourself before playing.

Agreed, this was a very good improvement. But, under what conditions (other than generosity) would you need the option to pay more to the same player(s)? Curious if there is a reason?

Well, in fact, there is a scenario. You could wish a not dangerous opponent to be rich enough to buy a card which would hurt your main opponent but not you.

I also had the same idea but decided to do one change at a time. Also, it was quite tricky to figure it out from the code how to do auto accept of the action so I decided not to pursue it at the moment. In general, I agree that there is no need to confirm an action if there is no choice inside and you can easily revert it.

When I have a Trading Post, I might sometimes buy a brown resource for 2 gold from a weaker opponent instead of for 1 gold from the leader. In that way I deny money (which is flexibility and points) to the leader - I have better position to become a leader myself. It's very rare (1 in 25 games), but it happens once in a while.
