I was having the same issues using safari. on chrome it seems better
No issues with Safari here

Yesssss! Love this game, excited to check it out. Just bought both expansions to play with my family, the kids love it.

It has indeed been reported that the game is ressource-intensive on Safari. I will have a look at it, but having no Mac handy I cannot reproduce by now. If you have an alternative browser (Firefox, Chrome), is it running smoother?

I haven't noticed anything on Chrome on Mac

I would love to play in Arena mode, but I don't like this game with 3 players at all... I think 4 players is the sweet spot.

My main computer is a 2009 iMac (running El Capitán). My browser is Chrome. Everything works fine here.

Great addition! I had never played before... a couple of friends invited me... and now I'm hooked! Surviving the season of COVID wouldn't be the same with BGA - what an amazing and timely service!
