Not on BGA because I joined during the pandemic, so the games would gather more dust than usual. However I've bought games after playing digital versions in the past.

Only one so far (Letter Tycoon, which took a bit of finding). I'm tempted by several others, but would have no chance to play them at the mo.

Sounds like BGA is really helping for some sales. I do love the site of course. It is nice to see other people really enjoying the games too. I do have a lot of games on my "maybe" buy list too.

I joined BGA last year because I couldn't play games in person. I have a 300+ collection sitting on the wall behind me right now that hasn't been touched in many months. And I've pretty much halted any new purchases. There are many games on BGA that I already have, but also many news ones that I never got a chance to play until now. So for now, BGA is not causing me to buy any new games. Maybe in the future if things return to normal, there are a few games I found on here that I might just seek out.

So far I've bought Eruption and Dungeon Roll after playing on here.

There are some I probably won't ever buy, even though I play on here, because they either require more people than I typically game with OR they are the type of game that I enjoy but my game friends don't (e.g., Clans of Caledonia, La Granja). So I appreciate that they are on BGA because otherwise I wouldn't get to play them.

But then there are games on my to-buy list like 7 Wonders Duel, The Crew, and others that I've enjoyed and think my friends would, too.

Sushi Go
Marrakech

Which, making this list, seems quite a lot!

Kingdomino - I’d played before but BGA rekindled my interest in it.
6Nimmt, with an eye on when my twice monthly pub games nights restart
Jaipur
Sushi Go Party (see Kingdomino)
Incan Gold (as Diamant) - I bought for my sister but she didn’t want it then instead of sending back to Amazon I just kept it and gave her the money (so I payed double for it) - I’ve only played 2 player (because of circumstances) using the 2p rules suggested by the designer of the game on BGG - it was actually quite enjoyable even though it’s definitely better with 4 or 5.
Lost Cities - I’ve put the word out that it would be an excellent birthday gift (for my second birthday in lockdown this month 😤) so might get that, my friend bought it for a gift for her fiancé and at least two friends after playing on here.

But equally when I had a £50 Amazon voucher for switching energy supplier I chose to spend it on games I hadn’t played on here as I wanted to try some games out that I’d heard about (mainly through Tom Vasel and BGG lists) but not had the chance to play.

I’ll almost certainly get a copy of Saint Petersburg at some point.

I have played Kingdomino and definitely see why so many people have bought it. It is so simple and just great fun. Overall I am working on trying to get Calico though which I feel Kingdomino would fight for the same spot. I am always so close to winning every round.

Sadly Calico seems impossible to get :(. The game I am surprised about is I saw lot of people mentioning Draftasaurus. It is definitely a simple and fun game but it rivals Sushi Go and 7 Wonders for my quick drafting game on BGA. Admittingly I have a feeling 7 Wonders probably wouldn't be as fun in real life! Having the game calculate trading + victory points + gold is just amazing! I admit I played Draftosaurus on the Winter side for the first time and overall that side felt much more interesting to me.

There really are just so many great games on BGA though. I am trying my best to not buy anymore games though lol. I started my board game collection and am at 15+ games after 2 months. I played many many games before this just never owned many games.
