by the way: there is an undocumented last parameter for ajaxcall, which defines the http-method, so post is possible for some longer data..

wow, that's interesting to know - thanks for that.

I'm curious how people seem to know about undocumented features. Is the source code for the framework available somewhere? I haven't seen it anywhere, but it would be interesting to see, especially if that's how non-emplyees of BGA are finding out about these features. (I know on the Javascript side it's in theory all available through the browser - but obviously the production versions are minified and I don't fancy having to decipher that, even after "prettifying" things like variable and function names are going to be very hard to decipher! If there's an unminified version available to see anywhere that would be great though :) )

The source code is not available. For js as you said, it's just about digging into the prettified unminified version.
For php, it's sometimes discussions with admins, or code in other (old) repos.
